Automatic Fresh Water Supply for Boats

The Jabsco PAR-MAX 3 12V Fresh Water Pump provides pressurised water for onboard taps, sinks and showers.

With a maximum open-flow capacity of approximately 11 litres per minute and a 1.7 bar (25 PSI) shut-off pressure, it is suitable for small to medium-sized fresh water systems, typically serving up to three outlets.

The integrated pressure switch operates the pump automatically, while an internal bypass helps maintain smoother water flow and reduce frequent switching.

Installation Advice

Install the pump in a dry, accessible position with adequate ventilation around the motor.

Use suitable 13 mm fresh water hose and secure the connections correctly. Fit the supplied inlet strainer to help prevent debris from entering the pump.

Before replacing an existing pump, check the boat’s voltage, required flow rate, operating pressure, hose connections and available mounting space.

An accumulator tank can help further reduce pump cycling and pressure fluctuations, although the pump includes an internal bypass.
