Description

The Rule-A-Matic Plus 40A is a heavy-duty float switch designed to automatically control non-automatic bilge pumps in marine installations. Rated for pumps drawing up to 20 amps, it activates the pump when water rises in the bilge and switches it off once the water has been evacuated.

This model features a fully integrated, impact-resistant protective cover that helps prevent debris intrusion and reduces the risk of jamming in contaminated bilge environments. It is equipped with 14-gauge, abrasive-resistant, marine-grade blocked wire for enhanced durability and reliability. A built-in test feature allows quick functional verification without lifting the float manually.

Suitable for a wide range of bilge pumps, typically from 360 GPH to 4000 GPH depending on current draw, the Rule-A-Matic Plus 40A provides increased amperage capacity compared to the standard 35A model. The unit includes a removable base for servicing and is backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
