Description

The Lalizas Lifebuoy Light M.O.B. is a classic marine safety device designed to provide optimum visibility at sea during man-overboard situations. The light is SOLAS, MED, and USCG approved and emits a white light with a luminous intensity of not less than 2 cd in all directions of the upper hemisphere for a minimum duration of 2 hours, ensuring effective visual marking in low-visibility conditions.
The unit operates using four D-cell 1.5 V alkaline batteries (not included). In accordance with regulatory guidance, batteries should be marked with a Best If Used By (BIUB) or Best Before date and indicate a lifespan of 7 to 10 years. It is essential to record the battery replacement date in the designated space on the product, in compliance with new MED Directive requirements.
