Flag Malta

Description

The Malta courtesy flag features a vertical bicolour of white and red with the George Cross in the upper hoist corner and is flown by foreign-registered vessels as a sign of respect when entering Maltese territorial waters. Intended for courtesy use in the standard small size, the flag should be hoisted on the starboard spreader or a designated courtesy flag halyard in accordance with international maritime etiquette. Manufactured from marine-grade polyester, it is suitable for regular outdoor use in Mediterranean cruising conditions.
