Flag Cape Verde

Description

The Cape Verde courtesy flag features a blue field with a horizontal white and red stripe and a circle of ten yellow stars and is flown by foreign-registered vessels as a sign of respect when entering Cape Verdean territorial waters. Intended for courtesy use in the standard small size, the flag should be hoisted on the starboard spreader or a designated courtesy flag halyard in accordance with international maritime etiquette. Manufactured from marine-grade polyester, it is suitable for outdoor marine use in Atlantic cruising conditions.
