This multi-function light offers four different lighting modes to suit various onboard needs. It can be used as a standard torch light for directional illumination, a white lantern for general area lighting, a red lantern for preserving night vision, or a combined flashing mode with torch and red lantern for signalling or emergency visibility.

The 3W LED provides strong illumination while maintaining efficient power consumption. The flashlight delivers approximately 12 hours of runtime in torch mode and up to 30 hours when used as a lantern/handle light, making it suitable for extended use on boats, during night fishing, camping, or emergency situations.

Its floating design ensures the light remains visible and retrievable if dropped in the water. The unit is supplied ready to use with three AAA batteries included.

This vest-style harness features a durable D-ring positioned on the back, allowing secure attachment of a safety line or tether. Its ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit while providing reliable restraint during sailing operations in challenging sea conditions.

The light emits a high-visibility flashing signal at a frequency exceeding 50 flashes per minute, ensuring that the wearer or floating lifesaving equipment can be quickly located in low-light conditions, rough seas, or nighttime rescue situations. With an operational autonomy of more than 30 hours, it exceeds many minimum safety requirements for lifesaving appliances.

This model is specifically classified as “Submerged Equipment”, meaning it is designed for continuous contact with water or submerged conditions. This classification makes it particularly reliable when attached to lifejackets or lifebuoys that remain partially or fully in the water.

The light includes an automatic water-activation system along with a manual switch-off function when the emergency situation has ended. How the Indication System Works

The indication on the standard MK5 Automatic inflator allows the user to establish if the system has been fired. The standard MK5 Automatic inflator does not indicate if a pierced CO₂ cylinder is accidentally refitted to the inflator during the servicing procedure. The CO₂ cylinder must be checked each time you don your lifejacket to ensure it is not pierced and it is tightly screwed in by hand. In addition the cartridge must be checked to ensure it has not passed the replace by date, it is also fully screwed on tightly by hand and water is not restricted from entering the system.

There are 2 forms of indication :

1. The Automatic Indicator
2. The Manual Indicator

Both indications must be green, the Automatic Cartridge must be fully fully screwed on hand tight and must be within the printed Replace By Date and a fully screwed in hand tight, full CO₂ Cylinder for correct operation.

The Automatic Indicator is positioned on the base of the Automatic Firing Mechanism.
GREEN indicates OK, and RED indicates STOP/NOT USABLE.

The Manual Indicator is positioned on the side of the firing head.
GREEN indicates OK, and RED indicates STOP/NOT USABLE.

These should checked each time the lifejacket is worn.
