The Rule 39-24 Mercury Free ECO Switch is a 24V automatic bilge pump control switch designed as an ecological and reliable alternative to traditional float switches. Instead of a mechanical float mechanism, the ECO Switch operates using air pressure. As water rises in the bilge, air inside the attached sensing tube is compressed, activating the switch and starting the pump. When the water level drops, pressure decreases and the pump switches off.

This design contains no moving internal parts and no submerged electrical connections, as all wiring remains outside the water. The mercury-free construction makes it environmentally sound while reducing the risk of mechanical jamming caused by debris. The ECO Switch is suitable for controlling non-automatic bilge pumps within appropriate amperage limits and provides dependable automatic operation in 24V marine electrical systems. It offers a practical solution for vessels requiring enhanced reliability in contaminated or debris-prone bilge environments.

The Rule LoPro LP900S is a 12V automatic bilge pump rated at 900 GPH (3407 LPH), specifically engineered for shallow bilges and tight installation areas. Its low-profile design allows mounting in confined compartments where traditional bilge pumps may not fit.

The LP900S offers multiple operational modes to suit different onboard requirements. It can be configured to activate automatically at either 2″ (5 cm) or 1.3″ (3.25 cm) water level, depending on installation preference. An additional automatic timed mode checks for water by briefly activating the pump every 2.5 minutes. A fail-safe back-up feature protects against continuous run conditions.

The pump includes a fully rotating discharge body for flexible hose routing and is supplied with multiple discharge port options to accommodate various plumbing configurations. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically to adapt to bilge layout. A built-in Thermal Cut-Off (TCO) protects both pump and vessel, while marine-grade blocked wiring, ignition protection, and CE and ISO 8849 certification ensure compliance with marine safety standards.

Designed for quiet operation with minimal vibration, the LoPro series provides efficient bilge water removal while maintaining reliable performance in demanding marine environments.

The Rule-Mate RM500B is a 12V fully automated bilge pump rated at 500 GPH (1893 LPH), designed to provide reliable, sensor-controlled bilge water removal without the need for a separate float switch. Equipped with Auto Sense Intelligence, the internal water level sensor automatically activates the pump when water reaches approximately 2 inches (5 cm) and switches off when the level drops to approximately 3/8 inch (0.9 cm).

This model incorporates an optimized impeller delivering up to 10% higher flow compared to previous generations at similar amperage draw. A built-in Thermal Cut-Off (TCO) provides additional protection for both pump and vessel. For 500–1100 GPH models, including the RM500B, features include backflow prevention to reduce residual water in the bilge, hidden air vents to minimise airlock in complex plumbing installations, and a threaded discharge outlet for easier installation and maintenance.

If the internal sensor becomes fouled by debris or contaminated bilge water, the integrated back-up feature prevents continuous run conditions by reverting to a timed 2.5-minute cycle mode, protecting the vessel’s battery while maintaining automatic operation. The compact housing (approximately two-thirds the footprint of previous comparable models) allows installation in tighter bilge spaces.

The Rule 27DA is a 12V non-automatic bilge pump rated at 1100 GPH (4164 LPH), designed for efficient removal of nuisance water from marine bilge compartments. As part of the Rule Standard Bilge Pump range, it features a compact, high-efficiency motor with stainless steel shaft and marine-grade blocked wiring for durability in harsh marine environments.

This pump is fully submersible and ignition protected, making it suitable for installation in petrol-powered vessels. It incorporates a snap-lock strainer base for easy cleaning and maintenance access, as well as a vented impeller housing to reduce the risk of airlock. Built-in Thermal Cut-Off (TCO) protection helps safeguard both pump and vessel in case of overload.

The 360–1100 GPH models, including the 1100 GPH version, feature backflow prevention to help reduce water returning into the bilge from the discharge line. The Rule 27DA is supplied as a standalone pump; automatic operation requires a separate float switch or panel switch. The pump meets or exceeds CE and ISO 8849 standards and is NMMA listed.
