The Goldenship Kill Switch with Coil Lanyard is an essential safety device for boats equipped with outboard or small inboard engines. It is designed to immediately stop the engine if the operator is thrown from the helm or moves too far from the controls.

The system consists of a safety switch connected to a coiled lanyard that attaches to the operator’s wrist, lifejacket, or belt. If the operator falls overboard or is separated from the helm position, the lanyard pulls the safety clip from the switch, instantly cutting the ignition and stopping the engine.
